The Cochran Family opened The Outermost Hostel in 1991 to provide budget accomodation for travelers to Provincetown, MA.

Thomas Cochran grew up on Cape Cod and always knew Provincetown to be a great destination place. Sheela Cochran worked at Napi's Restaurant for many years and now runs The Outermost Hostel full-time.

Thomas and Sheela Cochran also operate The Huckleberry Finn Youth Hostel in St. Louis, Missouri which is open year-round.
